The patent was published on February 23, 2012. Ownership of such intellectual property will allow significant opportunity for American Manganese on a world scale.

American Manganese Inc.(TSXV:AMY) announced that it has employed the services of Kemetco Research Inc. to research the production of an improved lithium manganese dioxide. This will provide an opportunity for the production of ultra-high purity manganese dioxide for use in lithium ion batteries. The research project will be initiated on March 9, 2012.

The American Manganese Inc. (TSXV:AMY,FWB:2AM) NI-43-101 compliant preliminary feasibility report is now scheduled for the later part of March 2012, due to a significant amount of information from several independent commercial suppliers being compiled for the report.
